Well, she didn’t transform into a toy soldier, rather she became a human Barbie. This is the outrageous story of how one woman became her own childhood toy.

On August 23rd 1985, Valeria Lukyanova came into the world to her Moldovan parents, Valery and Irina Lukyanova. From a young age Valeria was noted for her Barbie-like features – long blonde hair, big eyes and smooth skin. Despite her measurements being completely ludicrous, some children yearned for her flawless physique (and wardrobe, of course). Valeria was no different than other girls. She too had a collection of dolls and dreamed of becoming a Barbie herself, but she was just a child, the obsession would surely wear off.
