If you haven’t been, you’re missing out on a land full of Kangaroos, Vegemite, Kuala Bears, Sharks, Snakes, and other ‘out of the ordinary’ natural wonders. Australia is home to the Aussie mates, the location of some of the world’s most gorgeous beaches, and it’s also known to have quite a whacky reputation. I mean after all, it’s the place where even seemingly harmless native creatures can (and sometimes do) severely harm people. On that note, you can go ahead and book your flight OR instead look at pictures which show the land down under’s true colors. Enjoy!

The Monster Coconut Crab

A really tiny (basically miniature) sized garbage can? Or, the world’s largest crab? The answer: option number two. This in fact is a Monster Coconut Crab – the largest crab in all of Australia. Yes, it’s a real animal. This is not photoshop, folks.
