To Drive Or Not To Drive
Shelly knew that they both had been drinking, and even though it wasn’t so much alcohol, she didn’t want to take the risk. In an interview with Today, she said, “You don’t have to be drunk to be impaired. I wasn’t some crazy drunk lady, but I definitely had no business driving.” Her dilemma came when she thought about getting another parking ticket for leaving the car there.

Seeing as Sherwood Park was a small place, finding a taxi, especially at night, proved to be quite difficult. The couple was apprehensive about ordering an Uber but did so in the end. They wanted to get home already and planned to pick up the car in the morning. But still, something in the back of Shelly’s mind kept her worrying about leaving the car.
