Did you know that Alexandra Guarnaschelli’s mother was a cookbook editor who would test recipes at home? That’s precisely how Guarnaschelli fell in love with food and cooking. In 2007, she lost to Cat Cora on Iron Chef America. However that didn’t stop Guarnaschelli from appearing on Food Network shows like Chopped, All Star Family Cook-off, and The Best Thing I Ever Ate. Since 2009, she has also starred in the show Alex’s Day Off.
