George H.W. Bush
After the attack on Pearl Harbor, George H.W. Bush postponed his university studies, enlisting in the U.S. Navy upon his 18th birthday; he became the youngest aviator at the time. He served until the end of the war, then attended Yale University earning a degree in economics. After graduating, he entered the oil business and become a millionaire by age 40. Bush then became a congressman, ambassador, and was Director of Central Intelligence. And after all this, he served as Vice President and eventually President.
