Breathe. As essential as this concept is in order to live, it’s also key when doing yoga. With every move, every pose, every technique, it’s important to focus on your breathing patterns. Now this may sound silly and obvious, but it’s common for yogi’s to forget to breathe, as they’re super concentrated on achieving a pose.
Don’t Forget To Smile
Similar to the previous page, trying to find that perfect balance requires a lot of concentration and determination – when you’re in the zone, you’re in the zone. However, as important as it is for yogi’s to breathe, it’s also just as important to smile! Even though the “completely focused” facial expressions can be quite comical.
Round out your yoga routine by adding in some basic weight training. Weight training will hit you in places that yoga can’t reach and you’ll quickly reap the benefits. Just look at her! She clearly knows the beauty of squats.
