Lauren Bacall
This American star is best known for her seductive appearance and distinctive voice. The American Film Institute named Lauren Bacall the 20th greatest female screen legend of American film history, and in 2009, she received an Academy Honorary Award “in recognition of her central place in the Golden Age of motion pictures.” Her acting career was standout, but she actually got her start in modeling and was even featured on the cover of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and other publications. Someone once described her beauty this way: “cat-like grace, tawny blonde hair, and blue-green eyes”.
