Lynda Carter, who was regarded as the most beautiful woman in the world at the time, has played Wonder Woman since the 1970s. In 1972, she won the Miss World USA beauty pageant. She gave up the role to Gal Gadot, but not before immortalizing Diana Prince for a generation. Carter made a long-awaited return to the spotlight to promote the next Wonder Woman film. Carter has supported ads for firms such as Maybelline, as well as television and film. She and her husband, Robert A. Altman, have had two children since 1984.
