Vanna White, the long-running Wheel of Fortune hostess, is well-known. She rose to prominence in the late 1970s after winning a beauty competition. She then featured on another popular game show, The Price is Right. It should be noted that her contract with Wheel of Fortune is still in effect for a few years. Her pay has also improved dramatically since she began working at this company. Vanna is also a Lion Brand Yarn ambassador, having declared her love for crochet on The Tonight Show.
