WWE superstar Darren Young announced that he was gay on TMZ in 2013, surprising the world of wrestling. He added that he had already been in a committed relationship with Nick Villa for two years. He later said that he came out because it was important for him to be able to bring his partner to WWE events openly on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
