Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita
One of the favorites on the hit TV series Modern Family is Jesse Tyler Ferguson. He and his partner, Justin Mikita, got married in 2013. Ferguson and Mikita chose to go with a not-so-traditional but wonderfully inspiring wedding-gift request for their marriage celebration; asking their guests not to buy them gifts but instead to donate on ‘Tie the Knot’, a charity founded by Ferguson himself, for their marriage equality charity. The charity focuses more on LGBTQ rights in the US, as well as marriage rights around the world since the right to legally wed was granted in the United States in 2015.
