Soon after Dan moved into a new house with his girlfriend, they started looking for a new furry friend that could stay with them. Dan had always dreamed of getting a dog, and since the house they now live in allows pets, Dan saw it as the perfect chance to fulfill his dream. When the couple visited a shelter, they became smitten by a dog from a shelter. Hilariously, he was named Sir Wiggleton.

The 2-year-old American bulldog had been found wandering around the Detroit streets. Coincidentally, the couple also lived in Detroit. A person found the homeless dog and told the local shelter about him. The shelter took him in and he stayed there for a few months before Dan along with his girlfriend made a decision to bring the dog home.
