The BSL Ban (Breed Specific Legislation) is a law that forbids the ownership of specific types of dog breeds because of their vicious nature. So regardless of whether you believe your dog to be tame or not, authorities are legally entitled to take your dog away from you. The pit bull happens to be one of those dogs on the list.
