The majority of people supported Anthony, but some disagreed. The dispute highlighted the daily issue of objectifying women. Some felt that in schools, a more lenient dress code would lead to anarchy, and so dress codes were placed in place to maintain order.

The Accusations
Tony argued that the school is racist and objectifying women and his daughter. By claiming that their dress code was implemented to establish a structure among their students, the school defended itself. In fact, there are many other aspects of the school that provoke negative student attitudes and actions, not just dress codes.
