Lee Had Crossed the Line
Jackie left Lee nothing when she died. According to Jackie’s biographers, she kept an enemies list, and Lee’s name was included. Jackie allegedly stated: “I have made no provision in this my will for my sister, Lee B. Radziwill, for whom I have great affection because I have already done so during my lifetime” . But, evidently, she had motives for doing this… Lee allegedly had an affair with John F. Kennedy during his marriage to Jackie. Gore Vidal, Jackie’s close friend, said that Lee’s first husband, Michael Canfield, once informed him that his wife had a relationship with JFK. Canfield stated, “There were moments when… I believe [Lee] went too far. Like going to bed with Jack in the room next to mine in the south of France and then brag about it.” If that’s the case, we can better comprehend Jackie’s decisions.
