Sullivan County managed to close this case after verifying that Flora Harris was truly Flora Stevens. Sheriff Mike Schiff said this during a press release: “It is not too often that you get to solve a 42-year-old missing person case.”

After 42 long years, everyone finally learned what had happened to Flora Stevens. While they found the missing person, we can only wish she had the answers to all our questions. They left 78-year-old Flora with a smile and a wave as she sat in her wheelchair in front of the window.
