But, New York State Police’s Yan Salomon didn’t have the best news. He did indeed find a woman, but she was not alive, as he had found skeletal remains. He did, in fact, need some help identifying who this person was.

The next move for him was to grab the phone and make some calls. He rang up the Sullivan County sheriff’s office and asked to speak to a detective. He found the remains of the woman near the Catskills but explained that he needed help figuring out who it belonged to.
