The fisherman wisely observed one huge obstacle. They saw the mother bear was lingering nearby. Even though she was abandoned her cubs, the fisherman questioned still if she would save them or not. They were afraid if they saved them themselves, the mother might try to attack them. They hesitated.

The fisherman waited to see what the mother bear would do. They waited for her to be a safe distance from the boat before they determined their rescue plan. They also began to worry. Could they save them? What would they do with the bears once they were rescued? They couldn’t bring them on the boat of course. They were running out of time and had to make a decision.
