The Discovery
John seemed to have noticed an entrance in his backyard shaped like a hatch. He cleaned up around it and then removed the lid. He made sure he didn’t inhale too much. He had no idea if there was a mold or, worse, toxic gas emissions. Sims looked into it attentively and was shocked by what he saw.

Sims had only found, under the roof, that only three feet beneath his lawn were sharp blades in his yard. Upon looking closer, John found it was a downward spiral staircase. Most would not delay exploring this recent discovery, but despite his immense excitement, John hesitated. Despite his hesitation, he had a good reason.
