“There was a piece missing,” Cheryl said, “something was different,” since she and Bobby’s friends had noticed some odd things. For example, Bobby didn’t like being in pictures, he was always cautious about talking to strangers, and he often kept to himself. There were times when people would stop and ask him something mundane and he always “seemed spooked”.

While arguing with Cheryl, Bobby would close himself off. “I remember during Christmas of 2014, I was on my knees in church, saying ‘Lord, please, I can’t do this anymore,’” Cheryl recalled. “That was a few weeks before everything went down.”
