Charlie eventually gets killed off, but this does not stop Alan, Jake, and Walden from still being ladies’ men. In one episode, Alan and Walden are interested in adopting but end up developing a crush on the social worker. Ms. McMartin eventually realizes that the two men lied about the application but forgives them anyway. Even though she starts going out with Alan, she later makes a move on Walden!
