Given his relationship with the creative team, Selleck voiced some concerns about how his character was initially portrayed. Without hesitation, he spoke to the creative and luckily had his character modified to an average and approachable guy instead of a James Bondish charming appearance. This was the perfect change for the storyline, who knows if it would have been successful without Selleck’s request?
