South Carolina – Forrest Gump (1994)
Given the fact that Forrest is always on the move throughout the film, it should come as no surprise that the film was shot in a variety of settings. These included locations in California, Arizona, Maine, and Montana, among other states. Many of them, however, were recorded in South Carolina, namely in the Beaufort area. Despite the fact that Forrest’s hometown was depicted as Greenbow, Alabama, the location was actually this place near Beaufort. The film followed Forrest as he unexpectedly accomplished all of these incredible feats despite the fact that he was a bit dim.

New York – Spider-Man (2002)
The Spider-Man franchise has been rebooted three times, with the part of Spider-Man being recast three times, but Tobey Maguire will always be remembered warmly as the actor who initially portrayed him in Spider-Man: Homecoming. The fact that much of the film was shot on location in New York, despite the fact that several scenes were also shot in Los Angeles, should come as no surprise given that the film is set there. The film follows Peter Parker, who is bitten by a spider, which results in his gaining superpowers. Is he capable of protecting the city while also leading a regular life?
