Realizing that because she had left her car there for two days, she would have to pay a fortune. She figured that even if a traffic cop hadn’t issued the ticket, the restaurant would have summoned the authorities for having parked there so long. When she garnered the courage to look at the ticket, her jaw dropped.

Her second guess was right, and the note was from the restaurant manager. But the note wasn’t a ticket, or an angry letter; it was something else completely. Then she read the letter: “I’m not sure if you had consumed alcohol at our restaurant or not,” the note read. “But we wanted to thank you for not drinking and driving.” She couldn’t believe it.
