Where She Went

Joyce thought of herself as an interior designer as you could have expected from the love she placed in her house. She revealed this to the Daily Mail. When you ask us, in the past she should have taken it more seriously because she had been pretty darn good. It was time, however, to say goodbye to her own masterpiece which took decades to develop. What was next for Joyce? The media became conscious that she was actually selling her house for the funds she needed to pay for a pension home. She wanted her retirement years to relax after taking care of her home. She was a dressmaker in the past. Can you imagine how she managed to make the house look like that, even if she’s never been professional? She told HGTV this: “I just wanted to be unique and to pursue my own styles.”

A History Lesson

In 1942, Joyce and her husband began calling 148 Jane Street. The Second World War was still going on in those days. All had their thoughts on the devastation that was taking place throughout the world. The couple moved to this two-story brick house and decided to own it. Everyone wanted to know if the new owners would continue living indoors or make a huge makeover. If you ask us, it seems to be a great injustice to ruin Joyce’s hard work. We have no idea what the current owners of the house have done to this day. We can only presume it was sold since the list is no longer available. Given that this is not a heritage site or a museum, consumers can do whatever they want to do. I hope they’re doing the right thing.
