As you could have predicted, such an impressive house with such stunning interior went viral. It even appeared on tv! People have captured this fascinating story. Who would have figured a 96-year-old woman could own a spot like this? The success, of course, made the price spike a little further. The house probably seemed more like a museum than like a home to people who paid attention to the story. Inside, the house looked like something that could be seen virtually everywhere from the 40s. Joyce decided not to change anything so she can still manage to remain the house intact.

Although the location remained largely identical, Joyce acknowledged that one part of the house was revamped. In the ‘ 60s, she chose to revitalize the kitchen in order to add modern comforts. The initial concept was not realistic, of course. The only thing she needed for her was to prepare more effectively. All the appliances inside the house remained in good working order despite the previous update in the ‘ 60s. It is not very surprising to hear when you remember how much she took care of the house, that this is the case. It rendered the girls absolutely meaning. It was really like a time capsule at home.
