Yardage
In the PGA Tour rotation, many courses added yardage to their tees. Why? They wanted to try to reduce the advantage of long hitters such as Tiger Woods, a strategy that became widely known as “Tiger-Proofing”. Woods, however, said that he welcomed the change, saying that yardage to courses had no effect on his ability to win.

Buddhist
Ever since he was a kid, Woods has been raised in the Buddhist faith. He carried on practicing Buddhism into his professional golf career. Woods admitted that he “believes in Buddhism… Not every aspect, but most of it.” Woods credits his deviations and infidelity to when he lost sight of his faith. He admitted, “Buddhism teaches me to stop following every impulse and to learn restraint. Obviously, I lost track of what I was taught.
