Montana – Thunderbolt And Lightfoot (1974)
The Treasure State is a breathtakingly gorgeous location. We should be grateful that this was brought to light in this bank heist thriller. What exactly is it about? Lightfoot is played by Jeff Bridges, and he is a car thief who happens to run into a Thunderbolt preacher by chance. As a result of his investigation, he discovers that the pastor, played by Clint Eastwood, is actually an infamous bank robbery suspect. This was, in our opinion, one of the best action films made in the 1970s period.

Nebraska – Election (1999)
Have you seen this high school movie? If not, you should. The film, which stars Reese Witherspoon, is about a student body election in which the stakes quickly become bigger than anyone could have imagined. It was intended to be a political comedy about how individuals lose their common sense, as well as an examination of the extremes to which people will go in order to win a political election. Alexander Payne, the film’s director, is a native of Nebraska. This is the reason he chooses this location for the majority of his projects!
