The film was primarily shot in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but a big chunk of the story takes place in Silicon Valley, and as a result, numerous sequences were filmed in the cities of Los Angeles and Pasadena as well. A large portion of the film is devoted to Mark Zuckerberg’s life and, specifically, the events that led to the establishment of Facebook. The film, which includes themes such as treachery, friendships crossed, and greed, is entertaining viewing.
