Florida – Cape Fear (1991)
Cape Fear, directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Robert De Niro, was shot primarily in Florida, in the area surrounding Fort Lauderdale and its southern suburb Dania, along I-95 north of Miami, and in the subtropical wildness of the Everglades, located on the state’s southern point. The film tells the narrative of a convicted statutory rapist who, armed with his newfound knowledge, pursues and terrorizes the man who sentenced him to prison for his crimes. This is a gloomy picture with some excellent acting.
